Hi, I’m Liz. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT), serving clients across Texas through a secure, HIPAA-compliant online platform. Additionally, as an LPC-Supervisor (LPC-S), I provide supervision for LPC Associates and those pursuing Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT) or Art Therapist Registered (ATR) credentials.

Healing Through Connection and Creativity

Over the years, my greatest joy has been helping women heal from trauma.

Trauma has a way of making us feel disconnected—from ourselves, our emotions, and the world around us. It can feel as though life is playing out like a movie, with us watching from a distance rather than truly experiencing it. We may struggle to feel emotions, or at least the ones we believe we should be feeling.

This disconnect is often the mind’s way of protecting us, but over time, it can leave us feeling stuck, isolated, and unsure of how to move forward. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can begin to reconnect with yourself, process your experiences, and find new ways to heal—whether through talk therapy, creative expression, or a combination of both.

Healing is possible. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone

My Therapeutic Approach

I integrate Expressive Arts Therapy with Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)—an evidence-based approach proven effective for processing and healing from trauma. This combination allows for both verbal and creative exploration, helping clients gain deeper insight and reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways.

Sessions are designed to move at your pace. Healing is not a linear process, and my role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, support, and a safe space to process your experiences.

No Art Experience Required

You do not need to be an artist to participate in Expressive Arts Therapy. If incorporating creative expression feels intimidating, know that we will move at your comfort level. Art therapy is about expression, not skill—using color, shape, and movement as tools to help process emotions in a non-verbal and deeply personal way
