A thoughtful, integrative approach to healing, insight, and growth
Sometimes life feels overwhelming, confusing, or heavy—and it can be hard to make sense of what you’re carrying on your own. Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and feel supported as you explore what’s been impacting you and what you want to move toward.
I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and patterns that no longer feel aligned. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, blending talk therapy with creative and experiential methods when helpful. Sessions move at your pace and are shaped by your needs, comfort level, and goals.
Therapy here is not about fixing you or pushing you beyond your limits. It’s about creating safety, understanding, and space for meaningful change—whether that comes through conversation, reflection, or gentle creative exploration.
I’m Liz Starnes, a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor, Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT). In addition to my clinical work, I teach graduate-level counseling and expressive arts therapy courses, provide supervision for emerging therapists, and offer creative process groups for personal insight and emotional healing.
Whether you’re seeking support, self-understanding, or professional growth, my work is grounded in respect for your experience and a belief in your capacity for insight, resilience, and change.
